In Basel at Elsässerstrasse 10, right next to the Mülhauserstrasse tram stop on line 11 between Sankt Johanns-Tor and Voltaplatz, you’ll find the iconic hairdressing salon Hairstyling Ricardo.

The first address for cheeky boys and naughty girls, for wild felines and rebellious rebels, for clever truants and fashionable trendsetters – for everyone with brains.
In an open and pleasant atmosphere, a snappy hairstyle is conjured out of every mane. Naturalness is the key, because “less is more” is our motto. We create creative hairstyles that flatter your face and underline your type, but are still easy to maintain.

OUR MISSION AND PHILOSOPHY

Elegance and sophistication are the key words of the current styling season.

“Oversized” hairstyles and high-contrast. In this season, richness and volume count. The more hair, the better.

Time to backcomb, time to break out the rollers, time to pin up your hair. Hair spray is celebrating a big comeback. XXL is in fashion! Big glasses, oversized bags, gigantic earrings… And big heads.

This “oversized” look applies to make-up, too: Dark, thickly lined eyes with colors ranging from anthracite over “coffee bean brown” to “shiny black”. “Big lips” are indispensable, creating the fashionable 3D-effect on the mouth – a strong lipstick with lip-booster effect, and lots of gloss to go with it.
